What happens at a meet n greet?
During the meet n greet the pet sitter will visit the potential clients home. Main objectives of this visit is to learn routines of the pets care, get to know key facts about the home, meet the pet parents and discuss key/garage entry and returns.
Ultimately the meet n greet will allow the pet sitter and client to ensure it’s a great fit for all parties.
-
What will a drop in session look like?
During the drop in session the pet sitter will care for the pet to include all agreed upon care and routines from the meet n greet. This will include nutrition for the pet, essential care of cat litter maintenance/restroom breaks, playtime and any other items agreed upon. (i.e. mail, packages, trash, plant care)
-
What kind of communication can I expect from the pet sitter?
During each drop in visit with your pet(s) the pet sitter will send a summary of each visit. This will include before/after pictures of nutrition, bathroom care, pictures during playtime and cute pictures they are lucky enough to capture.
Other pictures and communication can include a summary of the days mail/packages, plant care or anything concerning or out of the ordinary.

Medication Administration
We will not pill cats or administer medication to cats that are aggressive or uncooperative. Pills must be crushed/dissolved in food or be compounded into an ear gel, treat, or chewable tablet for easier administration.
We do not guarantee successful medication administration for any cat and may recommend veterinary boarding, if necessary.
-
Minimum Visits
Adult indoor cats must be visited at least once a day for a minimum of 20 minutes. Kittens (1 year or younger) must be visited twice a day for a minimum of 20 minutes (45 minutes is strongly recommended).
We will not accommodate requests for every other day or twice a week. As a professional pet care business, your cat's physical health, safety, and emotional well-being come first.

After-Hours & Emergencies
While we strive to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability, please keep in mind that we are not open 24 hours. Therefore, please follow this protocol for after-hours: If you must contact us after office hours for an emergency while we are scheduled to pet sit for you, please send a secured messaged through Precise Petcare or the business line 402-913-0326 up until 8 pm.
We will call you to determine the nature of your emergency. If your emergency is after 8 pm, please call your designated emergency contact for assistance. We will be unavailable.
-
Medical Emergencies
If your pet falls ill, we will take all reasonable measures to reach you or your emergency contact. If we're unable to reach anyone, we will use our discretion whether a trip to the vet is necessary.
Please inform your veterinary office that we'll be caring for your pets in your absence and leave a method of payment on file at their office in case emergency care is required. We will not be held responsible for any medical expenses.
-
Cats with Outdoor Privileges
Whether your cat is "indoor only” or has access to the outdoors, it will remain indoors for the duration of our pet sitting visits. We cannot be held responsible for any illness or injury sustained by your cat while roaming outside. For their safety, they will not be allowed outside while under our care.
-
Inclement Weather
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service during inclement weather but reserve the right to adjust the schedule of service based on our discretion. We require all clients have a local emergency contact on stand-by (like a neighbor) in case an emergency prevents us from providing pet care. We reserve the right to deny service to any client without a local emergency contact.
“Roxanne is wonderful! She sent daily updates and pics. She took excellent care of my two cats and even got my shy one to play! I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation with full confidence that my kits were in great hands. She is warm, friendly, and kind as well. I highly recommend her and will definitely book her to watch my fur babies in the future!”
